Can you take my wheelchair on this tour?
If you are reasonably ambulant, our Mercedes Sprinter has an automatic step which comes out when the door is opened. There is also a substantial hand rail to assist with entering and leaving the vehicle. If you are able to step up in to the bus with some assistance from a member in your group then you will be able to travel. We do not have a wheelchair ramp, however there is room in the rear of the vehicle to store a fold-up wheelchair or walking frame. For smaller groups our Mercedes Valente is easy to slide into as the seats are not too low. Our guide will also ensure that there is minimal walking to and from the cellar door and will park as close as possible to the entrance. He/she will also ensure they take you to places you will find the easiest to access.
Are children allowed on this tour?
Yes, but children can sometimes be bored, so we will tailor a tour including some fun activities for the kids and adults alike. Our vehicles have anchor points for child seats, however seats must be provided and fitted by you.
What should I wear?
Australia is generally a rather laid-back place and does not have a dress code for visiting wineries. All we ask is that you do wear clothes as sunburn is a killer! Smart casual attire is typical, opting for comfortable, seasonally appropriate attire. Shoes as opposed to thongs (flip flops) are recommended for getting in and out of the vehicles and around the cellar doors.
What if I don't like wine?
We can customise the tour to suit your wants. There are many other places in the area to show you that do not involve wine tasting. Wine tasting options are just one of the things we are famous for!
Can you cater for dietary restrictions/requirements?
Most certainly, the chefs at our choice of restaurants within the regions are able to offer choices to guests with special dietary requirements. Just let us know your dietary restrictions when you book so that we can ensure you are catered for.
Do I get a refund if the ship cancels it visit at the last minute?
No, a refund is not given in such circumstances. The cancellation charge is 50% for bookings cancelled 2 to 7 days prior and 100% for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the tour start date.
